Std series deleted, replaced with R Series

Effective August 2015, Baritec's R Series profile will replace the original Standard Series profile.

Why?

We constantly have our ears to the ground, assessing market requirements at all stages of the building process: specification, consent, through to building. Feedback from the market has been that the R Series profile meets all market requirements and the Standard Series isn't needed.

What's the difference?

The Standard Series profile has a channel on the outer face to accommodate RAB. The R Series profile has no channel and is designed to accommodate flexible wrap and 4.5mm HomeRAB.

What if my specification has Standard Series?

The BRANZ Appraisal is valid for the R Series, and Councils accept the revised profile. The drawings are slightly different for the R Series profile - to download a new set please visit our downloads page.
